Journaling idea taken from The Simple Woman's Daybook.
Outside my window... the air is cool and the sun is setting over the horizon. The leaves from the sycamore tree have fallen, blanketing the yard in shades of yellow and brown. Liesl is standing watch at the top of the deck stairs, waiting for something to bark at.
I am thinking... it's so close to Christmas already. Last year I never got into the holiday spirit. This year I am already feeling it.
I am thankful for... the endless bounty of love coming from so many directions in my life.
I am wearing... workout clothes because I had to burn the calories from the Halloween candy that keeps jumping into my mouth of its own accord.
I am creating... a video for Artsy. I tried to work on it today, but every time I started recording Big Jim turned on his blasted saw. Maybe tomorrow.
I am going... to do some office work tonight so I don't have so much to do tomorrow.
I am reading... my favorite book of positive quotations, for the thousandth time. I like to keep it with me and read a little bit from it everyday. It soothes me.
I am hoping... Liesl starts learning good behaviors in her puppy training class.
I am hearing... the sound of Jim watching Hawaii Five-O. No, really.
On my mind... I have 2 presentations to do next week in front of a group of people (not to mention my bosses) and I need to start focusing on the preparation for it.
From the kitchen... popcorn and white wine. That was dinner. No recipe tonight I'm afraid.
One of my favorite things... cinnamon candles.
The rest of the week... going to Medford and Boise. Need to pick out tile so the Jims can get the Master Bath done while I'm in Denver next week.
Pondering these words... God brings men into deep waters not to drown them, but to cleanse them. -Aughey

So wonderful! are you going to do this every Monday?
Good idea Dawnielle! I'm not very good at sticking with a schedule, but it's worth a shot!
I really like this idea, clever!
