Sticky Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken
1 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup honey
sesame seeds
Soak your chicken in the soy sauce with garlic, lemon and ginger for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Remove chicken from marinade and pat dry.
Melt butter and olive oil over medium high heat (I put it my burner on 7). The butter will start foaming like this.
When it stops foaming up (like this), add the honey.
If you are cooking chicken breasts go ahead and add them to the pan. If you are cooking smaller pieces like tenderloin, let the honey boil for one minute before adding the chicken to allow it to thicken a little.
Rotate the chicken every minute or two. They cook pretty fast and the honey will burn if you let them sit too long. My tenderloins were done in about 6 minutes with constant flipping.
Garnish with sesame seeds.
